The Blind Can See Again…
- Luke 18: 35-43
Then it happened, that as He was coming near Jericho, that a certain blind man sat by the road begging.
And hearing a multitude passing by, he asked what it meant.
So they told him that Jesus of Nazareth was passing by.
And he cried out, saying, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!”
So Jesus stood still and commanded him to be brought to Him. And when he had come near, He asked him,
saying, “What do you want Me to do for you?” And he said,”Lord, that I may receive my sight.”
Then Jesus said to him, “Receive your sight; your faith has saved you.”
And immediately he received his sight, and followed Him, glorifying God. And all the people, when they saw it, gave praise to God.

As I was reading this post my mind wandered, and I started thinking to myself, If Jesus walked this earth during our times, how would he be received, and if he healed someone in this manner, would that be accepted.
My guess is he would be received much like he was during his time, and his miracles would be attempted to be explained away as some kind of magicians trick.
Of course we have the advantage of knowing we should not be looking for him to return in the same physical manner. If someone claims to be Jesus Christ in our times, we know he is a false teacher.

You are right Kevin. But you can see that there are still numerous miracles taking place even in today’s world. I am not talking about fake magics or miracles that are done by blindfolding the public, I am talking about the real ones, but there is a one common thing in all those real wonders happening in todays world.
All of those real miracles are done in the name of Lord Jesus Christ. This is the most powerful and solid proof that Jesus Christ is the Only Living True God, and he is all powerful, even just saying his name out loud releases his powers. That’s how powerful our God is.
